Revelation 15 - Ritgheous Deeds Revealed

“Great and marvelous are your works,
      O Lord God, the Almighty.
Just and true are your ways,
      O King of the nations.
Who will not fear you, Lord,
      and glorify your name?
      For you alone are holy.
All nations will come and worship before you,
for your righteous deeds have been revealed.”

The book of Revelation has so many songs of praise and worship. I love the last phrase, "for your righteous deeds have been revealed." There are many things that are going on around us that we may not notice, especially if we aren't looking for them. The beautiful thing about coming into God's presence is that all will be revealed in the end. Things we didn't notice will be seen and things we didn't understand will become clear. But we can see many of God's deeds right now, if we open our eyes and look for them. If I think about  my day yesterday, I can see God's works. God brought to completion my car purchase, which was all an amazing thing. I was able to get financing without anyone's help, get a car I loved ay a great price, get it within two days, without having to mess around with my bank which is back in CT (I am in MA). God blessed that whole process. Then when I was in Boston, God kept me warm in the cold, and dry in the wet. Provided me with an amazing lunch and the most delicious dessert pizza...and wonderful company to eat it with. I could go on. These are just little things, but some of these little things are a part of a larger tapestry of God is doing in my life and the lives of others. When examined individually they may look like small things, but all great things are built from many small things.

Can you look at your life yesterday and see God's works. Just imagine that what we can see is a fraction of what we will understand at the end of time, when we stand before the Lord. We will see all the ways God has guided and protected us. But don't just wait to find out, search out God's goodness and praise the Lord for those things you discover!
